Soos die titel dit duidelik stel is hierdie 'n werf wat handel oor die onderwerp:  "die opvoeding van kinders", en dit vanuit 'n Bybelse perspektief.  Soveelkeer het ek al mense hoor sê:  "Ai, ek wens kinders het met 'n handleiding gekom!".  Wel, hierdie werf poog om hulp te bied sover moontlik vir voornemende ouers, sowel as die ouers van kinders tussen die ouderdomme van 2 jaar tot 7 jaar.  Die werf word meerendeels in Engels aangebied, bloot om ons internasionale gaste te akkomodeer, maar jy is welkom om vrae op die forum in Afrikaans te vra.

As the title proclaims, this website deals with the subject of raising children.  How many times have we heard someone say: "I wish children came with an instruction manual!".  Well, this site attempts to clarify many of the unclear issues, and state some very "common-sense" facts which parents often "miss" in all the hustle and bustle of raising our children.  All the information on this site is aimed at parents with children between the ages of 2 and 7, as well as parents-to-be.

Please register and visit the forum.  We all chat and converse about our ideas, mistakes, wisdom and such.  We will also approach specialists in the subject for both articles and posts on the forums, so keep a watchful eye on them and share your experiences too.

You are welcome to ask any questions on the forums in the meantime, and let's promote good, healthy education of our children.  Let them serve as example for all the world to see!

The site is based in South Africa, and many of the articles may be aimed at that public, but we are convinced that you will still find it extremely helpful in the process of raising your child as a well-balanced individual.

My huistaal is Afrikaans, so ek sal altyd poog om julle in Afrikaans te antwoord.  Uiteraard sal daar soms vrae en opinies wees wat miskien 'n breër mark kan bevoordeel, en in so 'n geval sal ek die Afrikaanse post dupliseer in Engels, en dan ook in Engels antwoord.
